Do I need to purchase a membership at the same time as my device?

In most cases, yes — a membership is required at checkout when purchasing a Solius device. There are two exceptions:

Gifting: If you are purchasing the device as a gift, you can check out without a membership. The recipient will purchase and activate their membership through the Solius app via the Apple App Store or Google Play when they set up the device.

HSA/FSA purchases: If you are using HSA or FSA funds to pay for your device, you must also check out without a membership and purchase it separately. The Solius Home Membership is not eligible for HSA/FSA, so you will need to purchase your membership using a standard payment method through the Solius app via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
